Feeling Giddi?

A new product rating and review engine debuted a few months back and shoppers are taking notice – and heeding its advice.

Dubbed Giddi, the site is an aggregator of more than 1.6 million reviews and recommendations from multiple online retail sites and media sources. Ultimately, it endeavors to help consumers make better purchasing decisions.

Unlike sites that focus almost exclusively on reviews, Giddi seeks to identify the best products based on a series of components, including price, reviews, age and popularity. More than 600,000 products in upwards of 250 categories are assigned a rating between zero and 100, and the ratings are updated as components change.
